Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference
between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
Consecutive and
simultaneous are the two types of
interpretation. Consecutive
interpretation occurs when the interpretation is
given in blocks of words or sentences. Simultaneous
interpretation is where the interpretation is given
at the same time a person is speaking the language
to be interpreted. There are no long pauses as in a
consecutive interpretation. Our interpreters
are highly trained and qualified to provide both of
these services.
